OSHA Training
J&K Electric pays for each employee to attend OSHA’s 10-hour construction training program. This ensures employees are able to identify, predict, prevent and stop potential hazards in the workplace.
Apprentice Program
We offer a fully paid apprenticeship program through the Bay Area Electrical Apprenticeship program. This four-year apprenticeship involves on-the-job training with our skilled journeymen combined with classroom training two days a week. Graduates of the program are then eligible to sit for the Pinellas County Journeyman’s exam. Journeymen are considered competent and authorized to work in their field as a fully qualified employee.
